VICTORIA, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 05/09/06 -- ACD Systems International Inc. (TSX:ASA), makers of ACDSee(TM) photo management software and Canvas(TM) technical illustration software, today announced an exclusive distribution agreement with Qast Systems Solutions, Inc., one of the largest software distribution companies in China to distribute several of ACD's products in that country.

This new distribution agreement will deliver and expand ACDSee photo management software to Qast's direct customers and its extensive reseller network. Qast System Solutions, Inc., offers distribution, direct sales and value-added reselling to customers in the rapidly growing Chinese market.

"As we develop and deliver more targeted products for a broader range of users, we find value in the large number of existing users who need better and more extensive software tools as they quickly increase their use of digital photography."
